Hi! Welcome to our Porter Davis Cremorne 41. This site will follow the progress of our home from the start, through every stage until the end. Sparkies were on site today moving a couple of lights and (hopefully) fixing a power point. Plasterers are due to come back for some repairs tomorrow.

Hi B&P, I've just caught up with your last two entries. Congratulations on your PCI, three pages sounds like alot!! Was it? How did it go down asking for lights to be moved? Was this not picked up when they were installed?
You are getting close, hope that they fix up everything quickly for you so you can move in!

Hi Toni - Three pages sounds like a lot, but most of it is minor. Lights were identified stright after the sparkies went in, but there was some negotiation with SS about the best way to solve the problem. One of the issues is that we carefully thought about where the lights should go over the kitchen bench, only to find that the sparkie couldn't put them in exactly the right spot because of vents (heating and cooling). The other issue is that the sparkie made some assumptions about placement which were not quite correct. Looking forward to settlement!
